Deputy Governor of the Indonesian National Defense Institute Takes a Doctoral Examination in IPB Monday, May 11, 2015

Vice Governor of the National Defense Institute of the Republic of Indonesia, Laksamana Madya TNI Didit Herdiawan took an open examination session of  Doctoral (S3) Program in Management and Business Studies, Graduate School (SPS), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), Wednesday (6/5), at the Auditorium Andi Hakim Nasoetion, Dramaga Bogor. He presented his dissertation, entitled "Maritime Industry and its Role in Food Distribution in Remote Areas to Strengthen National Food Security".

 

The variables (maritime industry and distribution) become the focus of discussion seen from the effects on the national food security system. Didit said that he uses three indicators of measurement in the study, namely availability, affordability, and quality and safety.

 

Didit completed his dissertation under the guidance of Dr. Arief Daryanto, Prof. Dr Herman Siregar and Dr. Harianto. Also present as examiners was Prof. Dr Budi Susilo Soepandji, as an external examiner. This open session, among others, was attended by the Vice Rector for Research and Cooperation of IPB, Prof. Dr Anas Miftah Fauzi. (Mtd)
