2013 Family Gathering of Agronomy

Himpunan Mahasiswa Agronomi dan Hortikultura (Himagron – Agronomy and Horticulture Student Association), Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agricultural University organized the 2013 Family Gathering of Agronomy (Temu Keluarga Besar Agronomi -TEGAR). The event was held at Grha Widya Wisuda  (GWW), Campus IPB Dramaga. According Anggita Perdana (20) event was attended by students, faculty members and alumni of the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture. The event is expected to cement the social relationships, solidarity and kinship among them,  as well as the formation of a wider network between students, faculty members and alumni of Agronomy and Horticulture.

A similar expectation was expressed by Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Anggita Perdana (20), "Our hope that the community members of  Department of Agronomy and Horticulture – Faculty of Agriculture will relate tightly with alumni of the Department of Agronomy from the first to 49th batch. In the future,  I hope that such  event will become an annual event of the Department. "

The concept of  present 2013 TEGAR was to emphasize the tight relationships  through informal discussions or experiences sharing among members Agronomy Association. The  Association gathering is expected to raise the solidarity and  concern among  members of Agronomy Association that would create a better awareness of the association among  Agronomy students, faculty, and alumni and to avoid the feeling that are strangers but family members.
