New Student Enrollment

New Students Accepted through USMI

1. USMI is a selection system for student of Bogor Agricultural University, which is carried out without any written entrance tests but based on the achievements made in their high school program. The assessement will cover their at 1st of 7th quarter (catur wulan/cawu) or at 1st to 5th semester.

2. The proportion of accepted students is determined by Bogor Agricultural University.

3. USMI selection system for new students is implemented by PPMB committee, managed and regulated by the Chairman of PPMB.

4. The system will invite the Indonesian high school students who are at their final school year to apply for the admission to the university. The interested schools should submit the recommended students directly to Bogor Agricultural University. Similar invitations will also be distributed to Indonesian high schools abroad.

5. Invited high school criteria is determined by Bogor Agricultural University.

6. The determination of High school students to be admitted to the university will be based on their scores on Biology, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; extracurricular activities; and other criterion as determined by Bogor Agricultural University .

7. The recommended students have to be supported by the dossiers which contains achievements made and other requirements as determined by Bogor Agricultural University, and they have to be endorsed by their high school principals.

8. The admitted new students Bogor Agricultural University by USMI system will be informed through their high school principals. Candidates are obligated to report to Bogor Agricultural University on the date as decided by Bogor Agricultural University and bring along the original documents and other needed requirements for verificstion. These new students must pay tuition fee and other administration fee required.

9. Violations of rules by the candidates/schools during the process of acceptance, let say the fraudulent of school documents, will affect to the cancellation of their acceptance.

10. The accepted candidates are obligated to take TPB Program (the First Year Common Students program).

New Students Accepted by SNMPTN

Seleksi Nasional Masuk Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (SNMPTN = National Selection for State-owned University) is a selection activity for student candidates to be admitted to the State-owned University through written entrance-test and special skill test on certain study program as well. The selection processes are carried by SNMPTN committee in the strategic cities where the state-owned universities are located. The entrance tests are organized using the integrated entrance test matters simultaneously in various stated-owned universities locations throughout Indonesia, thus, it will facilitate the candidates to select the nearest test venue to their home.

New Students Accepted by Special Invitation

1. Special invitation to be admitted as new comers of Bogor Agricultural University will be given especially for candidates who have achieved to make national or international reputation.

2. Student candidate accepted by Bogor Agricultural University through this manner must register on the certain date and deliver the original document and other requirements, pay tuition fee and other payment required by Bogor Agricultural University.

New Student Accepted by Scholarship as Representative from the Region ( Seleksi Penerimaan Mahasiswa Baru Beasiswa Utusan Daerah /BUD)

1. BUD/Beasiswa Utusan Daerah is the acceptance of the undergraduate students of Bogor Agricultural University as recommended and funded by the Central Government; Provincial Government and Residential/City Government. The graduates are expected render services and assist to develop to their places of origin immediately upon completion of their studies, or to work for private institutions and companies.

2. The candidates are natural science – based high school or vocational school graduates. They are recommended and funded by Central Government; Provincial Government, Regional and Municipal Government, Government Agency, private institutions and companies, with the following condition as follows: (a). They are not more than 25 years old, and (b). Good high school scores.

3. The applicastions should be officially by related agencies, the registration forms have to be submitted to Bogor Agricultural University by the appointed date.

Admissions for Talent Entrance Exam (UTM)

1. Talent Entrance Exam (UTM) is a method for the acceptance of undergraduate students leadership based and entrepreneurship and love of agriculture;

2. Prospective students are high school graduates on natural science or equivalent with the following criteria: (a) graduated in the selection period, (b) healthy and (c) is not color blind to certain Study Program (Major);

3. Registration conducted collectively through their respective schools or individual candidates by completing an enrollment form is received files according to schedule determined Bogor Agricultural University;

4. Candidates must follow a written examination in accordance with the prescribed schedule; and

5. Prospective students who passed the exam and was accepted by the IPB, are obliged to register in according to the schedule determined by bringing the requirements specified.
