Business Matching and Business Incubation Expo 2026 Connects Bogor City’s MSMEs with Business Partners and Investors
The Institute for Agromaritime Development and Innopreneurship Acceleration (LPA2I) at IPB University and the Bogor City Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (DPMPTSP) organized the “Bogor City Business Incubation Program Business Matching and Expo” in the Ballroom of the Startup Center Building at IPB’s Science Techno Park.
This event served as the culmination of the incubation program series and provided a platform to bring together mentored micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs)/startup with business partners, investors, and stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration, investment, marketing, and technology development.
Vice Chair of LPA2I for Business Incubation and Industry Partnerships, Prof Rokhani Hasbullah, stated that throughout the incubation program, participants received training through boot camps, mentoring, and coaching, culminating in business matching sessions.
Of the 20 participating tenants, 85 percent of the CEOs are women. In terms of business sectors, the majority operate in the food sector (75%), followed by fashion (10%), agriculture (5%), information and communication technology (5%), and handicrafts (5%).
The Chairman of LPA2I, Dr Handian Purwawangsa, noted that the dominance of the food sector among the participants presents an opportunity to strengthen collaboration with the facilities available at IPB University. Collaboration is also expected to grow through on the ground cooperation between startups, the business community, and local governments.
“Thank you to the business partners who attended, including CIMB Niaga Syariah, BSI, BLST, LBS Urun Dana, LAZ Rabbani, PT EPI, Planteria, Sanfood, d’mamam, Resto Hujan Rempah, and Kopi Tiam,” said Dr. Handian. He hopes the pitching session will spark interest among business partners to explore opportunities for funding, investment, marketing, and other forms of collaboration.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Bogor City DPMPTSP, Tyas Ajeng Fitriani Prihandari, SP, MSi, expressed her appreciation for this collaboration during her opening remarks. She hopes that the partnership with LPA2I IPB University will continue and create an increasingly conducive business climate for MSMEs and startups.
“MSMEs need not only regulatory and licensing support but also access to financing and markets. Therefore, the Business Matching event is expected to bridge the gap between startups and investors, business partners, as well as opportunities for innovation and technology,” she said.
Through the expo and pitching sessions, participants also had the opportunity to promote their products, build relationships and trust with potential partners, and secure expressions of interest in collaboration in the form of letters of intent (LOIs).
The series of activities continued with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (SPK) between PT Abah Uki Sejahtera and CV Serasa Boga Nusantara (Kopi Tiam) regarding product supply cooperation. This was followed by visits to startup expo booths, presentations, and startup pitching sessions in front of business partners.
“This Business Matching event resulted in 75 discussions on collaboration opportunities between startups and partners. From this process, 33 follow-up meeting agreements and 16 letters of intent (LOIs) were produced,” explained Deva Primadia Almada, SPi, MSi, Assistant for the Business Incubator Division at LPA2I IPB.
Through this event, it is hoped that the MSMEs and startups under the program’s guidance will be able to enhance their business capacity, expand access to investment and markets, and increase employment. (*/Rz) (IAAS/STD)
