LPA2I IPB University and Bogor City DPMPTSP Support MSMEs and Startups in Scaling Up
The Institute for Agromaritime Development and Innopreneurship Acceleration (LPA2I) IPB University, in collaboration with the Bogor City Office of Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP), held the 2026 Startup Business Incubation Program Bootcamp.
Aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurship ecosystem and promoting regional investment growth, the program was held at the Ballroom of the Startup Center Building, Science Techno Park (STP), Taman Kencana Campus (8/5). The event was attended by 20 selected MSMEs and startups from Bogor City that will participate in a three month business incubation program.
Vice Chairman of LPA2I for Business Incubation and Industry Partnerships, Prof Rokhani Hasbullah, said in his remarks that the incubation program represents a concrete form of pentahelix synergy among the government, higher education institutions, the business sector, and other stakeholders in supporting the development of innovative, competitive, and sustainable startups.
“Most of the participants come from the food sector, followed by agriculture, fashion, information and communication technology, and handicrafts. They have significant opportunities to utilize the various facilities and mentoring support provided by LPA2I IPB,” Prof Rokhani added.
Middle Expert Investment Governance Officer at the Bogor City DPMPTSP, Herman Rusli ST, MM, along with his team, also attended the event, delivered remarks, and officially opened the bootcamp. Rusli emphasized that the incubation program is important for guiding and supporting business actors as they grow and achieve sustainability.
“We hope this collaboration can strengthen human resource capacity, expand business networks, increase investment realization, and encourage economic growth in Bogor City,” he added.
The bootcamp featured three business and industry practitioners as speakers, namely Business Plan Development – Bambang Sutrisno (CEO of PT Tridhata Agro Inovasi/Planteria), Marketing and Business Networking – Eko Susanto (Founder of PT Semangatters Energi Bahagia), and Financing Access for MSMEs – Novie Wowiling (Branch Manager of BSI KCP Dramaga Perwira).
Participants were equipped with knowledge on developing comprehensive business plans, the importance of business legality and tax compliance, strategies for identifying target markets, building an entrepreneurial mindset, expanding business networks, and understanding various business financing schemes that can support business development.
Deva Primadia Almada, SPi, MSi, Business Incubation Assistant, also outlined the series of incubation activities that participants will undertake.
“Participants will undergo mentoring and coaching tailored to the results of the needs assessment. At the end of the program, they will also have the opportunity to participate in business matching sessions with investors, buyers, and strategic partners to open up opportunities for collaboration and more sustainable business development,” she added.
