IPB University and PT Bank Central Asia (BCA) have once again strengthened their strategic collaboration by launching a number of new facilities and services on campus. This latest collaboration focuses on providing infrastructure to support a healthy lifestyle and strengthening the electric vehicle ecosystem as part of the sustainability movement.

BCA Director, Hendra Tanumihardja stated that this collaboration represents a continued commitment by BCA and IPB University. “BCA and IPB have been collaborating since 2009 through scholarship programs. This means that for 17 years, BCA and IPB have been working together to identify talented young people with academic potential,” said Hendra while attending the Inauguration of the BCA and IPB Partnership at the IPB Dramaga Campus (5/5).

This synergy provides a one stop platform for the IPB Lestari Fund via myBCA, the opening of a BCA Express branch, and various facilities such as the Bakti BCA Solar Panel Charging Station, a mini soccer field, and electric vehicles. Also present at the event were BCA Director Antonius Widodo Mulyono, BCA management, and members of the IPB University academic community.

The Rector of IPB University, Dr Alim Setiawan, expressed his appreciation for the long-standing collaboration with BCA, which has shown rapid progress, particularly over the past two years.

“IPB University has been collaborating with BCA since 2009. At that time, BCA provided support for student scholarships, and since then, BCA has become an integral part of IPB University’s financial management ecosystem. Now, BCA has begun contributing to the provision of facilities and infrastructure,” he said.

The Rector noted that BCA’s contribution to the mini soccer facilities represents a strategic step to strengthen the collaboration while supporting a healthy lifestyle at IPB University. He also welcomed BCA’s support for the solar panel charging station at the bus stop, which aligns with IPB University’s plan to convert campus vehicles to electric vehicles to reduce emissions.

For him, BCA is a partner in transformation, change, and the development of the ecosystem at IPB University. Moving forward, the Rector hopes that this synergy will continue and support IPB University’s infrastructure needs, such as the addition of dormitories, through competitive financing schemes, as well as community empowerment initiatives aimed at building a sustainable economy.
