Participants in the Computer Based Written Exam-National Test Based Selection (UTBK-SNBT) at IPB University on Friday, April 24, 2026, need not worry about the exam time conflicting with Friday prayer. IPB University has adjusted the afternoon exam schedule so that participants can still perform Friday prayers without any constraints.

The UTBK-SNBT Implementation Coordinator at IPB University, Dr Windra Priawandiputra, explained that the schedule adjustment was made as a form of the institution’s commitment to providing inclusive and participant friendly services.

He noted that specifically on Fridays, participants in the afternoon session are scheduled to enter the exam room at 1:15 PM WIB. According to him, this policy was implemented to anticipate potential delays for participants performing Friday prayers.

“We are providing participants with the opportunity to perform Friday prayers in peace, without worrying about missing the exam,” he said.

Furthermore, the organizing committee has also prepared prayer facilities on campus to support the smooth implementation of the UTBK. Participants who wish to perform Friday prayers are welcome to use the mosques available on campus.

For participants at the Vocational Campus, prayers can be performed at the Al Ghifari Mosque, while participants at the Dramaga Campus can perform Friday prayers at the Al Hurriyyah Mosque.

He added that this arrangement is also part of the effort to create a comfortable and orderly exam experience. With proper time coordination and adequate facilities, it is hoped that participants can fully participate in the entire UTBK process.

Additionally, the committee urges all participants to arrive early and pay attention to the established schedule. This is important to ensure that administrative processes and exam preparations run smoothly. (dr) (IAAS/PRO)
