Eliminate Boredom While Waiting for Exams: IPB University Offers Educational Campus Tour for UTBK-SNBT Attendants

IPB University presents an educational Campus Tour program for parents and attendants of UTBK-SNBT participants at the Dramaga Campus. This program serves as a solution for attendants to fill their exam waiting time with informative activities, while also getting to know the academic environment of IPB University more closely.

This year’s tour series begins at the Graha Widya Wisuda Building (GWW) as the main gathering point. The journey continues to the IPB University Library. At this location, participants are introduced to modern library facilities that have transformed into spaces for collaboration, innovation, and technology-based learning, featuring various comfortable thematic rooms.

Next, the group visits the IPB Archive Exhibition. This facility displays important archives that record the journey and transformation of IPB University, while also highlighting the role of archives as an inclusive and inspirational source of information.

The tour then proceeds to the IPB Future Museum and Gallery. Here, participants are invited to explore the long history of IPB University through visual displays and interactive technology.

“In the museum, visitors can enjoy various interactive facilities such as a 360 degree photobooth and Virtual Campus Tour (VCT),” said Dr Adisti Permatasari Putri Hartoyo, Assistant for Digital Archives and IPB University Museum Management.

As the finale, participants visit the IPB Merchandise Store, which offers various official IPB University products, from accessories to food items and Muslim clothing.

Throughout the journey on the campus bus, participants also receive explanations about various faculty buildings and supporting facilities such as the Dramaga Clinic and Alhurriyyah Mosque, providing a complete picture of campus life.

Several attendants admitted they enjoyed participating in this activity. They did not feel bored while waiting for the exam and even became more familiar with and interested in IPB University as an educational choice for their children.

“Previously, I wasn’t very familiar with IPB University, but after joining this tour, I’ve become more interested and even more convinced to support my child studying here,” said one of UTBK-SNBT parent from Sukabumi.
