2026 Quality Family School Graduation Ceremony: Building Resilient Families in Cianjur
The Quality Family School (SKB) 2026 returns to cultivate 20 resilient families in Cianjur, West Java. This program is an initiative of IPB University through the Institute for Agromaritime Development and Innopreneurship Acceleration (LPA2I) to improve family quality.
This program serves as a response to various family issues, such as stunting, which is influenced by low parental education levels, the quality of childcare, and socioeconomic conditions. It also aims to strengthen family resilience and the quality of human resources in facing future challenges, such as the 2030 demographic dividend, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and the Indonesia Emas 2045 vision.
The graduation ceremony, held on Friday (4/17), marked the successful implementation of the SKB program in Sukamanah Village, Cugenang Subdistrict, Cianjur Regency, West Java.
This event also served as the culmination of a series of family empowerment programs led by Irmalia Noviani. As one of the SKB facilitators in Cianjur, Irma emphasized that women need to acquire knowledge in raising families so they can create a healthy environment that supports children’s growth and development.
“Mothers are extraordinary and play a vital role, so they must be knowledgeable. After participating in the SKB, we’ve come to understand that raising the next generation requires specific knowledge,” said Irmalia.
The direct benefits of the program were also felt by the families, through the knowledge shared by the facilitators.
“Thanks to the SKB, we’ve gained very useful knowledge and now better understand how to raise our families. Thank you to Ms Irma and the IPB team,” said Rani Maesaroh, one of the SKB Cianjur 2026 graduates.
The training of trainers (ToT) approach implemented involves facilitators from various villages and neighborhoods. This is one of IPB University’s steps to create change agents in family empowerment at the village level.
Through this activity, families under the guidance of SKB 2026 are expected to be able to disseminate the knowledge they have gained to their families and surrounding communities, thereby creating high-quality, prosperous, and empowered families leading toward the Golden Generation of Indonesia.
