IPB University Receives Informative Higher Education Award from the Central Information Commission
IPB University received the 2025 Public Information Disclosure Award from the Central Information Commission (KIP) of the Republic of Indonesia as a higher education institution with the title of “Informative Public Agency” with a score of 97,90.
The award was received by IPB University Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana, at an award ceremony held at the Bidakara Hotel, DKI Jakarta (12/15).
This Informative title is recognition of IPB University’s consistency as a public agency in fulfilling its obligation to provide accurate, transparent, and accessible information to the public. This achievement also demonstrates the institution’s ongoing efforts to strengthen good university governance.
The Rector of IPB University, Dr Alim Setiawan Slamet, expressed his pride in receiving this title once again. He emphasized that public information disclosure is an integral part of the responsibilities of higher education institutions.
“IPB University, as a public institution, will continue to strive to provide accurate information to the public. Public information disclosure is an obligation that must be fulfilled with compliance,” he said.
Dr Alim also expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the collective work of the entire academic community who contributed to maintaining this achievement. According to him, this achievement is expected to be a shared motivation to continue improving good university governance practices at IPB University.
Furthermore, the Rector emphasized the strategic role of the Information and Documentation Management Officer (PPID) in supporting information disclosure. He said that the PPID of IPB University has played an active and consistent role in providing public services.
“The PPID of IPB has consistently provided information and conducted extensive publications through various channels, including websites, social media, mass media, public spaces, as well as various internal media and other works,” said Dr Alim.
On the same occasion, the Chairman of KIP RI, Donny Yusgiantoro, reported that the implementation of the 2025 Public Agency Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) showed a significant increase. The number of public agencies assessed increased from 363 in 2024 to 387 in 2025, or an increase of around 11 percent.
This increase was influenced by government policies in establishing new institutions and the increased participation of state universities, including state religious universities.
Donny also said that in the 2025 Monev, 197 public agencies received an informative rating. This figure represents a 6,27 percent increase compared to the 2024 Monev implementation, with the highest increase in the categories of state institutions, non-ministerial government institutions, and state universities.
