IPB Stakeholder Forum 2025, Strengthening Collaboration with 200 Strategic Partners
IPB University held the IPB Stakeholder Forum 2025 at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Tangerang (11/8). This event served as a forum for reflecting on policy directions and a platform for strategic collaboration between IPB University and various strategic partners from industry, government agencies, and civil society organizations.
In his speech, IPB University Rector Prof Arif Satria said that IPB University continues to strengthen its vision to produce graduates who have innovative strengths and make real contributions to society.
“We want to produce graduates who are not only knowledgeable, but also have a mindset, character, and skills that are built with a focus on development and social impact,” he said.
According to Prof Arif, IPB University consistently adjusts its global direction every five years to respond to changes in the world. “We always update our strategic direction so that we can survive and innovate in the face of global challenges,” he added.
In the context of learning, he emphasized education that is not only based on logic but also on human wisdom. “The brain can be replaced by attention, but wisdom cannot be replaced by AI (artificial intelligence). Because wisdom comes from the heart,” he said.
In the field of entrepreneurship, he continued, IPB University has designed a systematic entrepreneurship pathway so that students become entrepreneurs ‘by design’.
“Many of our graduates are now able to export products to various countries, from coffee to Thailand to sweet potatoes to Singapore and Malaysia,” said Prof Arif.
He added that alumni who have not found work within six months of graduation can return to campus to participate in a free reskilling program. “As many as 98 percent of participants have successfully returned to the workforce. This is proof that IPB University is committed to accountability and tangible results,” he explained.
In terms of technology, IPB University has built teaching industry facilities such as food, beverage, animal feed, and coffee factories. Several facilities are supported by international collaborations, including from Korea. “We also have a CPO (crude palm oil) factory and research facilities for industry collaboration,” he said.
To date, IPB University has produced 489 creative startups that have created new job opportunities and economic prospects. In the social aspect, IPB University has empowered more than 10.390 villages, including 133 villages in the One Village One CEO program.
Meanwhile, Director of Cooperation, Communication, and Marketing at IPB University, Dr Alfian Helmi, reported that the IPB Stakeholder Forum 2025 was attended by more than 200 strategic partners.
“This forum builds meaningful dialogue between industry, government, institutions, and the community to create bolder and more impactful collaborations,” he said.
On this occasion, the IPB Partnership Dashboard was launched, a digital ecosystem that makes it easier for partners to monitor collaborative activities, scholarships, and the social impact of joint programs with IPB University.
The event continued with the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between IPB University, the Central Papua Provincial Government, the Bojonegoro Regency Government, and the Indonesian Traditional Fishermen’s Association (KNTI).
