Strengthening National Quality Culture, SV IPB University Brings Together Industry and Academics at QAQC Summit 2025
In facing increasingly fierce global competition, the implementation of quality standards becomes the key for Indonesian products and services to compete at the international level.
This commitment became the main spirit in the organization of the QAQC Summit Forum & Exhibition 2025, Saturday (10/25) at the Startup Center Building, IPB Taman Kencana Campus, Bogor.
This event was organized by the Alumni Career Center (ACC) of the Vocational School (SV) of IPB University in collaboration with the Indonesia Quality Institution (IQI). This forum brings together academics, industry practitioners, regulators, and quality observers from all over Indonesia with the theme “Ensuring Quality and Safety: Bridging Global Standards with Regulatory Complex in Indonesia.”
According to Zakky Ahmad Wahyudi, Founder of IQI and also Director of ACC of the Vocational School of IPB University, the QAQC Summit becomes a space for collaboration and joint learning for quality actors.
“We designed this forum so that participants can discuss, exchange experiences, and understand the direction of regulations needed by the industry. Quality is the result of joint work between management, production, quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and even regulators,” he said.
He also emphasized the importance of building a sustainable quality ecosystem through close collaboration between industry, academics, and regulators. According to him, a quality culture must grow from within the organization, not just to fulfill audits or certification requirements.
“When quality has become part of the way of thinking and daily work, any standard, whether national or international, will be easier to achieve and maintain consistently,” he added.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ricki Cahyana, Secretary General of the Alumni Association of the Vocational School of IPB University, stated that the QAQC Summit 2025 is an important momentum to strengthen the competitiveness of the national industry.
“This activity presents seminars, forums, and exhibitions with relevant topics from various sectors such as food manufacturing, cosmetics, traditional medicine, and medical devices,” he explained.
In addition to discussion forums, this activity also includes an exhibition featuring the latest innovations and technologies in testing, certification, and quality laboratories. Through this exhibition, participants can broaden their insights and professional networks across sectors.
“This activity is not only beneficial for professionals, but also for students and fresh graduates who wish to pursue a career in QA and QC,” he concluded. (IAAS/KMR)
