Six IPB University Researchers Make the List of the World’s Top 2% Scientists Worldwide 2025

IPB University researchers have once again made a proud achievement on the international stage. Six IPB University researchers have made it onto the list of the World’s Top 2% Scientists Worldwide 2025, released by Stanford University in collaboration with publisher Elsevier.

The six IPB University lecturers included in this list are

  1. Prof Daniel Mudarso (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), 
  2. Prof Anuraga Jayanegara (Faculty of Animal Science), 
  3. Dr Julie Ekasari (Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences), 
  4. Prof Farah Rahma (Faculty of Agricultural Technology), 
  5. Prof Irmanida Batubara (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences), and 
  6. Prof Mohamad Rafi (Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences).

This prestigious award is based on objective indicators, such as the number of citations, H-index, and the global impact of publications. This assessment is one of the international benchmarks for measuring scientists’ contributions to the development of science and technology worldwide.

The Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria, expressed his appreciation and pride in this achievement.

“I congratulate the IPB University researchers who are included in the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2025 list. This achievement is not only a recognition of individual dedication, but also proof that IPB University continues to make a real contribution to the world of global research,” he said.

Furthermore, Prof Arif emphasized that this achievement will further motivate IPB University to strengthen its research ecosystem oriented toward innovation and tangible impacts for society.
