Influencer with 1,2 million followers on Instagram, Nabila Ishma Nurhabibah (@nabilaishma), officially became a new student of the Master of Family Science and Child Development (IKA) Study Program at the Graduate School of IPB University.

She chose to continue her master’s studies at IPB University because of the uniqueness of the study program, which is the only one in Indonesia.

“The main reason I chose IPB University was because the study program I wanted was the only one in Indonesia. I read many journals published by IKA Study Program and was interested in the research field. I also knew one of the lecturers at IKA who gave me a lot of explanations and motivated me to enter,” said Nabila.

According to her, the excellence of IKA lies in the integration of various disciplines, ranging from child psychology to microeconomics, so that it is more applicable in everyday life. “While other universities usually focus on one field, in IKA everything is combined. Plus there are practicums and interesting courses in the syllabus,” she explained.

Nabila has also had personal experience with the IPB University campus since last year. “Last year I was invited as a speaker in the MPKMB event for IPB Vocational students. From there I became more interested, and this year finally really became part of IPB University,” she said.

She assessed that the academic atmosphere at IPB University is very supportive of students to develop. Inspiration also comes from the experience of IKA lecturers who share a lot of knowledge, including practitioners in the field of family education. “From here I get a lot of inspiration and sharing, even to the point of comparing with studies in Malaysia,” she said.

In addition, Nabila claimed to feel a positive impression from IPB University’s integrated digital system, from registration to the academic process. “The system makes it easy for students to find information and solve problems. The staff and lecturers are also friendly and communicative. The campus environment is beautiful and the facilities are centralized,” she said.

After graduation, Nabila plans to implement her knowledge to educate the public through her social media. “I am already active on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube. In the future, I want to continue using social media to share knowledge, as well as develop the community that I manage,” she explains.

She also plans to establish a marriage preparation and family education institute. “I want this study program to be known by more people so that more graduates can spread its benefits,” concluded Nabila. (Fj) (IAAS/NRA)
