IPB University has admitted 1.085 new students through the IPB Independent Selection Process (SM-IPB) from the Applied Bachelor’s Degree program and the SM-IPB International program, as well as foreign nationals from the International Bachelor’s Degree program. This includes 963 applicants for the Applied Bachelor’s Degree program and 122 applicants for the International Class program. The announcement was made on Monday (7/14).

Dr Utami Dyah Syafitri, Director of Education Administration and New Student Admissions at IPB University, stated that a total of 3.547 applicants applied for the D4 program through the SM-IPB pathway. Of these, 3.329 were deemed eligible for selection, and 963 were ultimately admitted.

“Online registration and payment of the single tuition fee (UKT) can be done during the period from July 14 to 17, 2025. The requirements for online registration can be viewed on the registration page at registrasi.admisi.ipb.ac.id,” explained Dr Utami.

SM-IPB is one of the admission pathways for new students in the D4 program (regular class) and Bachelor’s degree program (regular class and international class). This year, the SM-IPB pathway for the D4 program is conducted using two methods: 1) an online written exam; and 2) the score from the Computer-Based Written Exam (UTBK-SNBT) of the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT).

Previously, IPB University had admitted 4.013 prospective students for the S1 and D4 programs through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) pathway and 2.420 participants through the SNBT pathway. (IAAS/EXC)
