These are the 10 Most Popular and Competitive Programs at IPB University in the 2025 SNBT and SNBP

The enthusiasm of prospective students for IPB University continues to grow. Over the past three years, the number of applicants through the National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP) and National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) has increased.

Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs at IPB University, Prof. Deni Noviana, explained that in 2025, IPB University recorded a total of 64.035 SNBT applicants, an increase compared to 2024 (57.619 applicants) and 2023 (27.564 applicants). The average program competitiveness ratio, calculated by dividing the number of applicants by the program’s capacity, also increased from 24,0 in 2024 to 26,5 in 2025. 

For SNBP, the number of applicants increased from 23.475 in 2023 and 28.446 in 2024 to 35.745 in 2025. The average program competitiveness ratio (prodi), calculated based on the number of applicants compared to the program’s capacity, also increased from 9,0 in 2024 to 10,9 in 2025.

Prof Deni also advised prospective students who have not yet been accepted into SNBP and SNBT that IPB University still offers opportunities through independent admission channels, one of which is the IPB Independent Admission Selection (SM) for Bachelor’s and D4 programs.

“There are other independent pathways, such as the Student Council President Pathway, Talent Pathway, Regional Scholarship Partnership Pathway (BUD), and International Class,” he added.
