IPB University again recorded an achievement as one of the award recipients at the ASEAN-Korea Digital Business Partnership Forum 2025. This award was given for the contribution of IPB Press – as IPB’s university press – in encouraging educational technology innovation through ePub 3.0 innovation.

IPB Press is also the only university press participating in the ASEAN-Korea Digital Business Partnership Forum 2025. This prestigious forum that brought together digital industry players from South Korea and Southeast Asian/ASEAN countries was held at the Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta (6/10).

ePub 3.0 is an interactive digital book developed by IPB Press in collaboration with South Korean technology company Arasoft. This technology allows the integration of text, audio, video, and simulation in one digital learning platform that is more dynamic, inclusive, and adaptive.

“IPB Press is determined to provide quality and adaptive learning content. Digital innovations such as ePub 3.0 not only bring efficiency, but also expand access to knowledge inclusively,” said Erick Wahyudyono, Director of IPB Press.

Luhur Budiyarso, Director of PT Bogor Life Science and Technology (BLST), IPB University’s holding company, who directly received the award, emphasized that the collaboration between IPB Press and Arasoft is a concrete form of global synergy that has a direct impact on the advancement of education in Indonesia.

“Our presence here reflects the commitment of university-owned companies to continue to encourage global collaboration in the development of educational technology. IPB Press is not just a publishing institution, but an agent of knowledge transformation,” said Luhur.

On this occasion, the President of the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA) of South Korea, Park Yunkyu, expressed optimism for digital cooperation across the region.

“Southeast Asian countries, such as Indonesia, have great potential in the development of the digital sector. I am optimistic that the Korea-ASEAN partnership will grow closer,” he said at the forum.

The event is an important momentum in strengthening collaboration in the information technology sector, digital education, and creative industries. More than 30 South Korean technology and creative companies-such as B4PLAY, DNBSOFT, Brainworks, MetaVu, Bionutrion, and others-attended the forum to explore strategic partnership opportunities with Southeast Asian partners. (*/Fj/Rz) (IAAS/PRO)
