IPB University Announces Participants Who Passed the Selection of Student Council Chairperson, PIN, and BUD Pathways
IPB University announced 788 participants who passed IPB University through the independent selection pathway (Student Council President pathway, the International and National Achievement (PIN) pathway and the Regional Envoy Scholarship (BUD) pathway). The results of the independent selection pathway admission were announced on Friday (6/20) at 20.00 WIB.
Student Council Chairperson Pathway
From a total of 1.179 applicants for the Student Council President pathway, 307 people passed the selection. While on campus, they will receive various training such as leadership and entrepreneurship training.
IPB University Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof Deni Noviana, said that the Student Council President pathway is an IPB University independent selection pathway to attract prospective students who have proven their leadership abilities as President of the Student Council.
In addition, Prof Deni added that prospective students who enter through the Student Council President pathway are also expected to have adequate academic abilities to be educated at IPB University to become prospective leaders with intellectual and high integrity.
“Through this scheme, IPB University is expected to produce prospective leaders who lead with a scientific approach or scientific based leadership,” said Prof Deni.
International and National Achievement pathway and BUD pathway
Meanwhile, 273 people passed the International and National Achievement (PIN) pathway from a total of 1.808 applicants. The PIN path is a pathway that provides opportunities for high school / equivalent or vocational school graduates who have extraordinary achievements in extracurricular activities, both at national and international levels.
As for the BUD pathway, IPB University received 208 out of 317 prospective students who applied. Through the BUD pathway, it is expected that graduates will return to their hometowns to contribute to building their hometowns.
Director of Education Administration of IPB University, Dr Utami Dyah Syafitri added, all prospective new students from Student Council President, PIN, and BUD pathway were asked to register online and pay tuition fees according to the specified time.
