IPB University Achieves Six Gold Winner Awards in ESG and DEI Communication Programs at IDEAS 2025

IPB University has once again achieved a remarkable accomplishment at the national level. At the 4th IDEAS 2025 event, IPB University successfully secured a total of six Gold Winner awards in the category of Strategic Communication Programs based on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), and Environment, Social, Governance (ESG).

The six awards received are as follows:

  1. Gold Winner – DEI-Based Communication Program, Subcategory of Inclusive Culture through the IPB Galaxy Communication Program for the Nation.
  2. Gold Winner – DEI-Based Communication Program, Subcategory of Gender Equality and Diversity through the Foreign Student Cultural Development Communication Program at IPB: SUIJI SLP IPB
  3. Gold Winner – DEI-Based Communication Program, Subcategory of Environment through the IPB Aquaculture Festival (Aquafest) Communication Program.
  4. Gold Winner – ESG-Based Communication Program, Subcategory of Social through the 50th Anniversary Expedition Communication Program of Lawalata IPB.
  5. Gold Winner – ESG-Based Communication Program, Subcategory of Social through the IPB Student Emergency Response Team (Tetada) Communication Program.
  6. Gold Winner – ESG-Based Communication Program, Subcategory of Organizational Governance through the Pre-Marriage School Communication Program for the Campus Community.

These awards were presented directly to the Director of Cooperation, Communication, and Marketing (DKKP) of IPB University, Dr Alfian Helmi, at the Menara Peninsula Hotel, Slipi, West Jakarta, DKI Jakarta on Thursday, (6/19).

In a separate occasion, the Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria, expressed deep appreciation to all campus members, especially the DKKP team at IPB University. He referred to this award as a result of hard work that creates a positive impact for future generations.

“Congratulations to the working units that have contributed to the success of this program, allowing us to receive this award,” said Prof Arif. He emphasized the importance of the role of the entire academic community in strengthening the institution’s reputation.

The Rector also highlighted the need to leverage this momentum to continue sharing information about various IPB University programs with the wider community. “Some believe that IPB University is already very good, even superior to media portrayals. This is our opportunity,” he added.

The chairman of DKKP IPB University, Dr Alfian Helmi, expressed gratitude for this achievement. According to him, this award serves as motivation to continuously improve quality, impact, and the spirit of innovation and collaboration in institutional communication.

“Our task is to voice the programs from working units so that they reach and impact the community,” he stated. He added that this award is a bonus that energizes his team to continue enhancing performance.

The IDEAS 2025 event featured a panel of judges including Asmono Wikan (Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia Group), Emilia Bassar (CEO of the Center for Public Relations, Outreach and Communication/CPROCOM), and Herry Ginanjar (ESG Expert). (dr) (IAAS/KMR)
