IPB University Accepts 2,420 New Student Candidates for SNBT Pathway

The results of the National Selection Based Test (SNBT) were announced on Wednesday, (5/28) at 15.00 WIB. In this year’s selection, as many as 2.420 participants from a total of 64.035 applicants for the SNBT pathway to IPB University passed the selection for both undergraduate and applied undergraduate programs.

Participants can see the announcement on the official page of the National Selection of New Student Admissions (SNPMB) or through mirror pages, one of which is https://snbt.ipb.ac.id

Participants who have passed are entitled to hold the status as prospective students (camaba) of IPB University. The results of this SNBT selection come from the results of the Computer-Based Written Test (UTBK) which was held on April 23 to May 4, 2025.

For prospective new students who have passed the selection to enter IPB University through the SNBT pathway, they must register online via https://registrasi.admisi.ipb.ac.id/.  The following are important steps and dates that must be considered by camaba:

1. Login to the registration page on the https://registrasi.admisi.ipb.ac.id/ page and download the Rector’s Letter starting June 29, 2024 at 13.00 WIB. Camaba are required to follow the provisions mentioned in the letter.

2. Camaba begin to register online on May 29 – June 3, 2025. 

3. Download the single tuition fee (UKT) billing information starting June 10, 2025. 

4. UKT payment is made on June 10-13, 2025.

Prospective students are considered as new students of IPB University if they have completed all the files and have paid the UKT. New students are entitled to attend lectures which will begin on June 23, 2025.

Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof drh Deni Noviana said, “For prospective students who have not passed SNBT, IPB University still provides opportunities through independent pathways, one of which is IPB’s Independent Entrance Selection (SM) for Undergraduate (S1) and Applied Undergraduate (D4) Programs.” 

“There are other independent pathways, namely the President of Student Council (OSIS) pathway, the Talent pathway, the scholarship partnership pathway, and the international class,” he added. 

Registration for SM IPB S1 Program will close on June 11, 2025, while the D4 Program will close on July 1, 2024. He further said, “For SM IPB S1 Program, it is open for regular classes and international classes.”

For information, in addition to the single tuition fee (UKT), students of Undergraduate and Applied Undergraduate Programs accepted through the Independent pathway will be subject to institutional and facility development fees (BPIF) paid once at the beginning of college.
