Festive Anniversary of IPB Future Museum and Gallery, Launch StudentVerse for Students

In commemoration of the 2nd anniversary, IPB Future Museum and Gallery presents “Museum Day x Agrianita Day: The Celebration of Joy, Legacy, and Productivity”. At the age of two, IPB Future Museum and Gallery presents a new facility, StudentVerse.

This event is a collaboration with Agrianita IPB which also organizes the annual Agrianita Day agenda. This activity is designed to present a joyful and meaningful atmosphere with various educational and inspirational activities involving the academic community and the general public. 

“Starting from May 13 to July 31, 2025, we have prepared various series of interesting events to enliven the anniversary of the IPB Future Museum and Gallery which falls every May 5,” Dr Syafitri Hidayati as Head of the IPB Future Museum and Gallery as well as Vice Chairman of the Institute for Information Management and Digital Transformation (LMITD).

The activities include student discussions, hologram poetry performances, the launch of MuseZine (history article magazine), kids corner, until the peak moment, namely the inauguration of the StudentVerse area.

StudentVerse is the latest area presented as a form of dedication to the spirit of the struggle of the students as well as an effort to maintain the collective memory of IPB University. The presence of this area is a form of institutional commitment in supporting expression and education space for the younger generation.

Located in the lobby of the museum, Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria opened a series of Museum Day activities. On the occasion, he delivered birthday greetings and hopes for the IPB Future Museum and Gallery. 

“Happy second birthday to the IPB Future Museum and Gallery. Hopefully this place can always be an inspiration to understand the past and the history of how this institution was built so that it can be a provision for us to look at the future of IPB University,” said Prof Arif.

The Secretary of the Institute, Prof Agus Purwito, also gave appreciation for the development of the museum. “We wish a happy birthday to the IPB Museum which has shown that it is getting more popular every day.” 

“The museum is also a favorite visiting destination for high school, college, and even foreign guests. Hopefully it can continue to be equipped and become a means to see the past, present, and future of IPB University,” he continued.

The euphoria of the celebration of this event was not only felt by the academic community of IPB University but also by the general public. As the participants of the coloring competition and the assistants who took advantage of the kids corner area with various activities, such as making clay, educational games, and virtual reality (VR). The event was closed with the announcement of the winners of the cooking and coloring competitions which marked the end of the Museum Day x Agrianita Day series. (IAAS/TNY)
