Supporting MSMEs to Upgrade, KKNT Innovation IPB Students Socialize Financial Management and Digital Marketing
In order to support Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Pulo Village, Kedungtuban, Blora, Central Java to upgrade, students of IPB University’s Thematic Real Work Lecture Innovation conducted socialization of financial management and digital marketing (26/7).
Mochammad Giffari Saputra, the person in charge of the MSMEs program, explained that this activity is expected to increase the capacity of human resources for MSME players and members of the Family Welfare Empowerment in Pulo Village.
“This program is expected to increase the capacity of PKK and MSMEs in Pulo Village by implementing digital marketing and MSME financial management,” said Mochammad Giffari.
The IPB University student from the Department of Management explained, in addition to socialization, the participants were invited to practice directly accompanied by students. Giffari also added that the practice of digital marketing is a demand to expand the market share of products sold by MSMEs in today’s modern era.
“In today’s technology-filled era, the use of digital marketing can save time, energy, and costs for promotional activities. Thus, MSMEs have the flexibility to market their products anywhere and anytime, known as borderless,” he added.
In not only introduced to the digital bookkeeping system and digital marketing, the KKNT Innovation IPB University team also helped MSMEs to rebrand the products produced.
“This upscale MSMEs program does not only contain one-way learning material, but workshops or direct practice of the material provided which is carried out in groups with the aim that PKK and MSMEs are able to do it independently.” he said. (*/ra/Rz) (IAAS/PRO)
