Achievement

Throughout 2023, IPB University brought 41 awards in the field of communication, now in the first quarter of 2024, achievements in the field of communication were again inscribed. A total of 12 awards were won in the Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2024 held by PR Indonesia in Bali, (7/3).

The awards include:
1. Platinum Winner (Higher Education sector)
2. Public Relations Department of the Year
3. Gold Winner – Public Relations Department
4. Gold Winner – Public Relations Marketing Program “IPB Goes to School: Sparking Joy Planting Knowledge”
5. Gold Winner – Marketing Public Relations “School of Village Government (SPD)”
6. Gold Winner – Digital Public Relations “New Student Admission of Faculty of Medicine IPB University”
7. Silver Winner – CSR Communication Program – Community Development “One Village One CEO (OVOC)”
8. Silver Winner – Digital Channel – “IPB Mobile for Staff” Application
9. Gold Winner – Digital Channel – Social Media (Tiktok)
10. Gold Winner – Crisis and Post-Crisis Management11. Silver Winner – Pre-Crisis Management
12. Silver Winner – Owned Media E-Magazine “IPB Magz”

Rector of IPB University, Prof Arif Satria expressed his gratitude for this achievement. He also gave appreciation for this achievement. “Alhamdulillah, I am grateful that IPB University managed to get the Platinum Winner and PR Department of the Year at the Public Relations Indonesia Awards this year. We are also proud of the Communication Bureau team that continues to improve communication performance and continues to strive to provide the best information to the public,” said Prof Arif.

“Hopefully this achievement can be an encouragement to be even better in providing services in the field of communication,” he explained. He emphasized that public relations work is not aimed at imaging, but to communicate work.

Secretary of the Institute (SI) IPB University, Prof Dr Agus Purwito said that this achievement was thanks to the support and cooperation of various work units at IPB University. “I hope that in the future the support given by the work units will be even greater. The task of the Communication Bureau is to voice the work programs owned by the work units at IPB University,” he said.

PRIA Award 2024 was attended by hundreds of corporations, ministries, universities, institutions, local governments. There are ten categories that are competed. Ranging from the category of Owned Media, Digital Channel, Crisis Management, Annual Report, CSR Communication, PR Program, PR Department, to Most Popular in Print and Online Media.

PRIA Award 2024 judging took place in a hybrid manner involving a number of judges. They are Asmono Wikan (Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia), Fardila Astari (Director of Communications of Rajawali Foundation), Elvera Makki (Founder and CEO of VMCS Advisory Indonesia and President of IABC Indonesia Chapter), Janette M, Pinariya (Vice Rector 1 for Academic and Research Affairs of LSPR Institute of Communication and Business) and Jojo S Nugroho (Founder of Imogen PR).

Furthermore, Mirana Hanathasia (Lecturer in Communication Sciences at Bakrie University), Sam August Himmawan (Director Purupiru), Verlyana Hitipeuw (CEO & Principal Consultant Kiroyan Partners), Mohammad Fahmi (Associate Partnership.id), Ratna Kartika (Chief Editor of PR Indonesia), Mas Sulistyo (Creative Director DM. ID) Dian Adi Prasetyo (PR Director Fortuna), Juniati Gunawan (Head of Trisakti Sustainability Center), Tuhu Nugraha (Government Relations and Metaverse Expert, Maria Wongsonagoro (PR Consultant), Puspitasari (UI Communication Lecturer).
