BEM KM IPB University Launches Dashboard on the Distribution of Student Boarding Houses and Rents

The Directorate of Research of the Student Executive Body – Student Family (BEM KM) IPB University or familiarly called GODATA launched a dashboard for the distribution of boarding houses and rentals of IPB University students available around the campus, both Dramaga campus and Bogor City. This dashboard can be accessed by link https://ipb.link/dashboard-indekos which was launched on the social media of BEM KM IPB University, at the end of last July.

“We have opened a survey with a voluntary sampling method asking student respondents to voluntarily fill in data on boarding houses and rentals that they think are recommended. From the survey, dozens of various boarding and lodging data were obtained, complete with facilities, addresses, and even photos,” said Ariiq Islam Alfajri, Research Director of BEM KM IPB University.

He added, the GODATA team designed this dashboard because of the urgency of IPB University students who need references related to boarding houses or rentals around campus that are useful for their residence.

“For IPB University students who need it, they can directly visit the site and see the various kinds of boarding houses and rentals available. In addition, on the site, students can sort facilities and payment systems for boarding houses and rentals independently, practically and easily,” he added.

According to him, the presence of the dashboard for the distribution of boarding houses and rented houses aims to provide a wide and many references to IPB University students, even the surrounding community who need recommendations for boarding houses or rented houses. (*/Rz) (IAAS/ANF)
