IPB University and Unma Collaborate in KKN-T Innovation Activities in Majalengka

The Directorate of Agromaritime Community Development (DPMA) of IPB University in collaboration with the Institute for Research and Community Service of Majalengka University (LPPM Unma) carried out the Innovation Community Service Program (KKN-Tematik) in Majalengka Regency, West Java. A total of 167 students participating in KKN-T Inovasi from IPB University and Unma were handed over directly to the Cingambul Sub-District Head, Majalengka Regency. 

KKN-T Innovation students who go to the field come from various clumps of knowledge. KKN-T Innovation activities will be carried out in eight villages, namely Cingambul Village, Cimanggu Girang Village, Cikondang Village, Kondang Makar Village, Cidadap Village, Cinta Asih Village, Ciranjang Village and Mukti Sari Village. This activity will be carried out in a fairly long duration, from June 26 to August 4, 2023.

"It is hoped that with the collaboration between DPMA IPB University and LPPM Unma in this KKN-T Innovation activity, students can jointly explore the potential of the village, find problems and provide appropriate solutions for the community in several villages in Cingambul District," said Hardiana Widyastuti, SHut, MSi as a representative of IPB University in her speech during the student handover ceremony.

Along with the speech, she also handed over and entrusted 47 IPB University students to the Cingambul Sub-District Head.

The Head of LPPM Unma, H Dadang Sudirno, SE, MSi also handed over 120 Unma students to the Cingambul Sub-District Head. "I hope that the program implemented in the framework of KKN-T Innovation together can synergize with the programs run in their respective villages," he said during the handover ceremony.

Cingambul Sub-District Head, Sulaeman, SIP, MSi happily accepted the arrival of KKN-T Innovation students. He stated, "In general, the potential of the village where KKN students work has almost the same resources as the villages in Majalengka. The description is the potential for dragon fruit, mushrooms, ginger and fish ponds.
