After successfully carried out the task as one of the centers for organizing the Computer-Based Writing Test-National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK-SNBT) Batch I of 2023 last May 8th–14th, starting today (May 22nd) to next May 26th, IPB University is holding UTBK -SNBT Batch II. The exams were carried out on two campuses, namely the Dramaga Campus of IPB and the Cilibende Campus of IPB.

Like the implementation of the Batch I exam, the atmosphere of the exam on the first day of Batch II was also colored by the enthusiasm of the participants. The test participants for morning session both at the Dramaga campus and at the Cilibende campus appeared to have been present at the exam location since 05.00 in the morning.

On the Dramaga Campus, IPB University provides bus transportation within the campus to help test takers reach test rooms scattered at several points on the campus. It can be seen that the officers direct the vehicle lanes for participants who bring private vehicles so that traffic on campus runs in an orderly and smooth manner so as to provide a conducive atmosphere for participants to take the exam.

The support from parents and relatives was also visible where not a few of the participants came accompanied by their parents or other relatives. Even these parents and relatives are waiting for their sons and daughters who are struggling by sitting around the test site.

Exams at the Dramaga Campus take place in five locations, namely the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), Faculty of Human Ecology (Fema), Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta), Faculty of Animal Husbandry (Fapet) and the Information Management Institute and Digital Transformation Building (LMITD) located in IPB University Library. Not only on the Dramaga campus, UTBK-SNBT also uses computer rooms on the IPB Cilibende Campus.

Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof drh Deni Noviana said, “The number of participants in Batch II are 6,427 people with a capacity at the Dramaga Campus of IPB is 540 people per session or 1,080 participants per day. Meanwhile, the capacity of the IPB Cilibende Campus is 300 per session or 600 participants per day.” He hopes that the implementation of the Batch II exam will run smoothly.

Meanwhile, the IPB University UTBK-SNBT Central Executive Coordinator, Dean Apriana Ramadhan, SKom, MKom said that the UTBK-SNBT Central Committee had given permission for the UTBK-SNBT IPB University Center to carry out a relocation test for participants who were affected by national system disturbances during the exam. Batch I on the first day, last May 8th. “For participants who were affected, they were given the opportunity to continue the unfinished or interrupted subtest on May 8 by being given a special session on May 26, session 23, at the Dramaga Campus, IPB University,” he explained.
