IPB University Postgraduate School Selection of 854 Prospective New Students Stage 1
IPB University Postgraduate School (SPs) held a Plenary Meeting for New Student Admissions Selection Stage 1 Odd Semester 2023/2024 (15/5). The plenary meeting was attended by the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, the Vice Rector for Resource and Infrastructure Resilience, the deans and deputy deans of the faculties and the Directorate of Educational Administration (DitAP) IPB University.
In his remarks, Vice Rector of IPB University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. drh Deni Noviana said that this activity had been carried out routinely to select prospective new students for SPs IPB University. According to him, besides having to pay attention to the tightness of applicants, IPB University SPs must also pay attention to the number of students, especially related to the quality of prospective students.
"Therefore, in this phase 1 selection plenary, faculties and study programs can really choose the best prospective students," he said.
He added, currently the registration process for new IPB University multistrata students is through DitAP. Therefore, it is necessary to have a promotion carried out by DitAP with SPs IPB University.
"With this promotion, it is hoped that prospective students can increase in stage 2 of new student admissions," he explained.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dodik Ridho Nurrochmat as the Dean of SPs IPB University expressed his appreciation to the new student admissions team for SPs IPB University in the first phase selection this year. He revealed that the first phase of new student admissions had increased quite a bit compared to the previous year.
"This year's acceptance has increased quite a bit compared to the first stage selection in the previous year, namely 854 applicants. Hopefully in stage 2 it can continue to increase," he said.
Previously, SPs IPB University had carried out an online registration process for new students of the doctoral, masters and engineering professions phase 1 in the odd semester of 2023/2024. Registration is open from 20 February to 30 April 2023.
SPs IPB University is also still opening registration for phase 2 of the 2023/2024 odd semester which will start on May 2 and end on July 16, 2023. The results of the selection of prospective new student admissions will be announced on May 19, 2023 and can be accessed via the registration.admisi.ipb.ac.id (HBL/Rz) (IAAS/SNI)
