IM Talks 2023: Talk About Education with Deris Nagara and Mapres IPB University

The Management of IPB Mengajar once again held IM Talks, an innovative program as a form of dedication to education field. With the theme 'Turn on the Lanterns to Spread the Light of Education', this activity presented two inspiring young figures to talk about the importance of education for the younger generation.

"IM Talks is an incubator to build strong characters of the younger generation so they have the determination to get the highest possible education," said Riki Mulyana as the chief executive.

He said education is one of the important factors to pay attention to. Without a quality education system, it is impossible to produce quality human resources.

Wrapped in a different nuance, IM Talks this time presented Muhammad Rizki Nugraha Darma Nagara, or better known as Deris Negara, one of the figures who has become a role model for today's young generation. Deris is also the Chair of the Student Executive Board (BEM) at Columbia University, United States.

Not only that, the figure of an Outstanding Student (Mapres) IPB University at the undergraduate level was Azzahra Putri Santi who also won the Gold Medal at the 2023 National Student Scientific Week (Pimnas).

IM Talks 2023 activities are carried out virtually via zoom meetings. Even though virtually, the enthusiasm of the participants was very high, as evidenced by the number of registrants which reached more than 400 participants.
