Faculty of Animal Sciences IPB University and Alumni Share Gifts

Faculty of Animal Sciences (Fapet) IPB University together with the Fapet Alumni Association (Hanter) distributed gifts to active and retired education staff (tendik). The delivery of gifts was carried out during Halalbihalal as well as Retirement Release (18/5) at the Jannes Humuntal Hutasoit Auditorium (JHH).

In his speech, the Dean of Fapet IPB University, Dr Idat Galih Permana expressed his congratulations on Idulfitri to the entire big family of Fapet IPB University. The big family of Fapet consisting of leaders, lecturers, education staff (tendik), the committee of Agrianita Fapet, retired lecturers and tendik and student representative leaders were present.

"Currently there are many changes that occur in the environment of Fapet IPB University. In the future we will continue to develop the management system, develop facilities, infrastructure, including cooperation, both with alumni and other partners," he said. He also expressed his gratitude for the support of Hanter which is always solid in its various programs, such as fundraising for scholarships and ropes. 

Chairman of Hanter, Aif Arifin Sidhik, SPt, MSc hopes that he and the new board that has recently been formed, will be able to continue the good things so far and always make useful activities, not only for alumni but also for the community in general.

"Thank you to the sponsoring partners for today's food distribution event. Thank you also for always faithfully supporting alumni activities," he said. Sponsors involved include Anindy's, AS Putra, Bright International, Hijrah Food and Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI).

Meanwhile, Ahmad Syahirul Alim, Lc, MPdI who was presented as a speaker conveyed the virtues of the month of Shawwal. He reminded one good practice that should not be missed, namely fasting six days in the month of Shawwal.

"A good deed makes it easier for us to do the next one. Do not stop doing good, if it is empty of good deeds, then fill it with the next good deed," he ordered.

He also reminded us not to do wrong to others. "Whoever does wrong, let him ask to justify it. This is where the term Halalbihalal came from. We may have different views, but we are still brothers and respect each other," he explained, quoting one of the hadiths.

He also hoped that Fapet IPB University could become a faculty that was advanced, superior, developed and could contribute more, not only to the country and nation but also internationally.

After the tausiah, a symbolic release of retired lecturers of Fapet IPB University was held, namely Ir Agus Setiana and Dr. Sri Rahayu and retired staff, Gani Apriana. (Femmy/Rz) (IAAS/RUM).
