The Rector of IPB University Received the 2023 Obsession Awards in the Best University Leaders Category

Prof Arif Satria, Rector of IPB University, received the 2023 Obsession Awards from the Obsession Media Group (OMG) in the Best University Leaders category. The award ceremony was held at the Kempinsky Hotel, Jakarta, 8/3 in the presence of more than 250 national figures.

This Award has been given by Obsession Media Group every year since 2007. A number of figures who have received this Award include Joko Widodo, KH Maruf Amien, Anies Baswedan, Ridwan Kamil and a number of other prominent figures.

Usamah Hisyam, CEO & Chief Editor of Obsession Media Group said that this award was given based on the results of the Indonesia Research and Survey (IReS) survey and the results of the decision of the OMG Chief Editors Club which consists of editor-in-chief from five media under the auspices of OMG.

Usamah added that the award was given for Prof Arif's positive contribution in efforts to build the nation and state society. Prof Arif's ideas in the development of Indonesian human resources (HR), especially in the universities he leads, really deserve to be appreciated.

Prof Arif Satria expressed his gratitude for the award given. "Hopefully this award will be a driving force to always contribute positively to the development of human resources and continue to work to provide the widest possible benefit to society," he said. (*) (IAAS/YMK)
