IPB University Postgraduate Student Forum Holds Audience with the Vice Rector

After the inauguration of the IPB University Student Organization (Ormawa) 2023 (5/8), the Postgraduate Student Forum (Discourse Forum) Integrity Cabinet led by Verry Surya Hendrawan held an audience with the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs and the Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and  Agromaritime Community Development, (8/03).

“This meeting is the first time after we were inaugurated with Ormawa throughout IPB University. Apart from that it is also our friendship as well as reporting on various activities that have been carried out in the last three months, as well as discussing several programs that allow collaboration,” said Verry Surya Hendrawan, Chair of the IPB University Discourse Forum.

In his presentation, Verry also conveyed various aspirations regarding the constraints experienced by postgraduate students at IPB University in general.

Yayat as Chair of the Public Relations Department who was also present outlined several plans for the work program of the IPB University Discourse Forum for the next year. Among other things, work programs related to community service, improving the quality and competence of students, and postgraduate scholarships.

“We also try to support the timely completion of postgraduate student studies, as well as build the widest possible network,” he said.

In addition, IPB University Discourse Forum administrators also revealed that there were several student wishes based on the survey results they had. “From the data from the management survey and discussions that developed previously, we know that there are several hopes for postgraduate students at IPB University, including improving the quality of facilities and ease of administration,” said one of the administrators of the IPB University Discourse Forum.

During the audience, the student delegation was welcomed and received directly by IPB University Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, Prof  Deni Noviana, and IPB University Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Agromaritime Community Development, Prof Ernan Rustiadi at different hours.

On this occasion, Prof Deni Noviana said that IPB University, especially the Vice Rector for Education and Student Affairs, would support the activities and work programs of the IPB University Discourse Forum. “Of course, we will support organizational work that will produce benefits,” said Prof Deni Noviana.
