IPB University Officiated Botani Laguna Café, a Gift for Post-Graduate student

Botani Lagun Café is officially opened by IPB University rector, Prof Dr. Arif Satria in post-graduate coworking space, IPB Dramaga, Bogor (6/2). Beside rector, several IPB University high ranking officials also attended, which are the vice rectors and dean of each faculty. 

“We have to understand consumer’s behavior today. Especially on how to make the consumers share about positive impact of our business. Seller’s hospitality, cleanliness, and product’s health are also the key. The opening of Botani Laguna Café aimed to get students to be more productive due to more cozy and comfy space to imagine and create.” Says Prof Arif Satria.

Botani Laguna Café took the concept “One with Nature: because the visitors can enjoy the distinct nature panorama like the lake and other natural sight.

Prof Dr Ir Erika Budiarti Laconi, MS, as the Vice Rector of Innovation, Business, and Entrepreneurship expressed that Botani Laguna Café is the sixth café that IPB University own.

“This café is established as a gift for post-graduate student which presents products from IPB University researchs. Hopefully this could spark other IPB students to continue study to masters and doctoral. Insya Allah we will also build another café near the male dormitory.” She expressed.

Meanwhile, Prof Anas Miftah Fauzi, Dean of Post-Graduate School of IPB University, in his speech, hoped that this café could be a good environment for students to finish their study. “This café could function as the supervisor to guide the students, so the guiding process can be done friendly by lecturer, but also maintaining quality.” He said.

This café serves various coffee, cake, pasties, and other snacks. Very fitting to accompany discussion besides students, or student and lecturer.
