IPB University Graduate School Opens Agro-Maritime Logistics Study Program

The IPB University Graduate School which oversees the multidisciplinary Study Program (Prodi) introduces its newest study program, Agro-Maritime Logistics. The launching and workshop were held at the IPB University Business School Building, Bogor (10/12).

The aim of the Workshop and launching of the Agro-Maritime Logistics Study Program is to explain the vision-mission, competencies, and agrological programs managed by the Agro-Maritime Logistics Study Program, introduction to the agrological stakeholders from academia, government, business actors and the community, and establish communication communication scholarly among academics, governments, agro-maritime logistics entrepreneurs / practitioners.

"After this workshop it is hoped that information about the Agro-Maritime Logistics Study Program can be widely distributed in the community, "said Prof. Dr. Anas Miftah Fauzi, Dean of the Graduate School.

In the event a talkshow was also held which presented Dr. Ir Hoetomo Lembito, MBA (Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Supply Chain Logistics Institute), Prof. Dr. Luki Abdullah, M.Sc.Agr (Chair of the Indonesian Livestock Logistics Forum), Ir Sadullah Muhdi, MBA (Director of Systems Logistics, Director General of Maritime and Fisheries Resources Supervision for the Period 2015-2019), Dr. Ateng Supriatna, M.Sc (Fisheries and Aquaculture Program Manager Conservation International Indonesia), and Astri Purnamasari (VP of Corporate Services TaniHub).

The talkshow was hosted by Dr. Heti Mulyati, STP, MT (Lecturer in the Department of Management, Faculty of Economics and Management of IPB University). The participants who attended the event consisted of several agencies. (IAAS/NAS)
