IPB Collects the Award in October

National and international achievements were achieved by IPB University during October 2019. Starting with the election of three IPB lecturers as Academic Leader 2019. IPB University Rector, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria as Lecturer Academic Leader with Additional Assignment as Leader of Higher Education, Rank 2, Prof. Dr. Slamet Budijanto as Academic Leader in Rank 1 and Dr. Illah Sailah as an Academic Leader in the LLDIKTI Leadership category Rank 2. This award was given by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education RI as a form of appreciation to lecturers who have produced innovative works that are very beneficial for national development.
Two awards in the field of Public Relations Media were won simultaneously by IPB University in the Best News and Best Social Media Categories. This prestigious award was given by the Public Relations Coordinating Board (BAKOHUMAS-RI Ministry of Communication and Information at the 2019 Public Relations Media Award Night, in Pangkal Pinang, October 25, 2019. This award served as a barometer of public relations performance at the national level. This achievement complements the Indonesia Public Relations Award 2019 the previous month where IPB University got the Gold Winner for the best Public Service Room and the Silver Winner for the Best website in the College category.
Two IPB University students won two international awards in The 26th Tri-U International Joint Seminar and Symposium at Jiangsu University China, October 20-25, 2019. Tri-U is a consortium of 13 universities of which IPB University is a member. Sanhaji presented a paper entitled Sulfur Transporting Machine: Harvesting potential energy into electrical energy. While Khalisah Rahma Safira delivered Rice Starch-based Film Incorporated with Zinc Oxide Nanoparticles paper.
Coinciding with Youth Oath Day, IPB University again won three awards for Lecturers and Education Personnel organized by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education, RI. Dr. Anuraga Jayanegara as Rank 1 National Achievement Lecturer in the Science and Technology Category. Dr. Megawati Simanjuntak as Lecturer with National Achievement in the Social Humanities Category, Rank 2. Kusnadi, SE as National Achievement Education Staff in Financial Management Category, Rank 3. This award winner will become a role model, not only in terms of performance but also in terms of character and attitude for those who are other.
The moment of commemoration of the Youth Pledge also gave color to two young IPB University students who succeeded in bringing the Beginner Young Entrepreneur Award (WMP) National Level Achievement from the Ministry of Youth and Sports in 2019, namely Sari Nurmayani (student of Agronomy and Horticulture Masters) as Champion in the Agriculture and Agriculture Category Marine and Pipit Pratama (alumni of Aquatic Product Technology) won 2nd Place in the Service and Trade Category. The award was given at the Summit Event of the 91st Youth Oath Day at the Jakarta Concert Hall, October 28, 2019.
Closing in October, IPB University Outstanding Student, Maftuh Ihsan, won the Silver Medal in the 2019 International Junior Forest Contest (IJFC) held in Voronezh, Russia.
For these various awards, the Rector of IPB University, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria said, “We are very grateful for the achievement of various awards by lecturers, students and education staff at IPB University. This shows that all elements in IPB University strive to develop creativity to provide the best for IPB University, all stakeholders and this nation, in accordance with the tagline inspiring innovation with integrity. ”
