Rector of IPB University Deliver the Message of the Importance of Legacy in Innovation

The Directorate of Human Resources (HR) of IPB University Announces the Selection of Educators and Education Personnel (Diktendik) Achieving the level of IPB University at IPB International Convention Center (IICC), Bogor (27/8).

This year the HR Directorate noted, participants from the lecturers who participated in the Diktendik election performed 11 people. There are seven participants in the science-technology field and four in the social humanities field.

While for education staff, the total participants who participated in the election were 37 people divided into seven categories. Namely academic administration, general administration, educational laboratory institutions, librarians, financial managers, archivists and security units.

In his remarks, the Chancellor of IPB University, Dr. Arif Satria said that the participants must make every effort to get satisfactory results.

"Don't let us try half-heartedly, then regret it. Our task is to maximize effort. All participants have been given coaching. This is a good step, because with coaching, everyone has equal information, so when they start at the IPB University level, they are on the same start. So we hope that from IPB University later it can emerge at the national level, both lecturers and students, "said Dr. Wise.

At the same time, IPB University also held a Session Sharing with the Chair of the Department. Dr. Arif realizes that the innovations that have been produced by the department are numerous and so varied. However, he advised that the innovations created could make legacy.

"The Legacy is the footprint. It will be felt if we do works that have multiplier effects and added value to others. If we are able to make that, legacy Ina Allah will be created. This means that we have or not, will have an impact on change, "said Dr. Wise.

The Chancellor of IPB University added that instilling legacy was important. Because with that, everyone will remember and feel the benefits of the results of the thoughts, works and innovations that we make. So that our presence in the community can provide positive changes.

"If all the people at IPB University are lecturers, tenders and officials at IPB University think and have the mentality to make legacy, thinking of making new histories, I am very confident that IPB University will be able to jump far ahead," concludes Dr. Wise.
