IPB University LPPM Conducts Monev on New Company Candidates

To assess the progress of Technology-based New Company Candidates from Higher Education Institutions (CPPBT PT) 2019 program by Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti), Institute of Research and Community Development (LPPM) IPB University conducts monitoring and evaluation (Monev) in Dramaga Campus, Bogor (15/7). In said Monev, there are reviewers from Ministry of Agriculture, Dwi Herteddy SE, MSi and CPPBT facilitators from General Directorate Innovation Empowerment, Kemenristekdikti, Nurul Fadhila and Mulya Saputra.

Head of Research Planning, Development, and Synchronization LPPM IPB University, Dr Eko Sri Wiyono said that CPPBT research program becomes one of the opportunities for IPB University to produce new entrepreneurs from the innovations and products generated from higher education institutions, especially from IPB University.

Dwi Herteddy said that the purpose of this program is to observe the improvement of CPPBT. “We want to see if the commencement is in line with the plan that has been explained during the funding selection presentation or if there is any adjustment that can be discussed, to perfect the CPPBT product or innovation development. We also observe the administration and financial report so that we can fulfil the requirements for audit by the Audit Board of Republic of Indonesia (BPK). So far, there are only 16 percent of CPPBT funded and have their programs continued,” he said.

He adds that in this program, the researchers also conducted progress presentation about their research activities since the signing of the contract, showed research activities logbook, and filled in research progress administration form and financial report for BPK administration. (Ard)
