The target of this Farmers Lecture is women farmers who are members of the Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Karanganyar Village, Kandanghaur District, Indramayu Regency, and Bongas Wetan and Cidenok Villages, Sumberdaja District, Majalengka Regency.

“The purpose of this lecture is increasing the capacity of women farmers that have participated in KWT. It also aims to disseminate the result of IPB’s innovation to the society,” said Adi Firmansyah, the Head Division of Community Empowerment CARE LPPM IPB. “Instructor for this lecture is CARE LPPM IPB team along with the IPB alumni that serve as village assistance,” continued Adi.

Farmers lectures at KWT Karanganyar Village has been held six times. In addition to the women farmers, some of the farm lecture activities are also attended by local village government, Field Agricultural Extension (PPL) and local Babinsa. All participants were enthusiastic to apply the knowledge they had obtained.
