Solidifying the Concept of Agromaritime 4.0, the Team Does Socialization in IPB Internally

The Institute of Research and Community Empowerment (LPPM) IPB University conducted socialization of Agro-Maritime 4.0 Concept in Ruang Sidang Rektor, IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor (29/3). This socialization aims to convey information about the concept and development of Agromaritime-based research of IPB and its implementation steps in the field.

The Dean of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (Fateta) IPB, Prof. Kudang Boro Seminar as one of the speakers said that in general, the Agromaritim 4.0 Concept in research and development has a challenge, namely how much the impact of the change will affect the condition of the community. The application of Agro-Maritime 4.0 provides little concern to the public regarding the reduction of human labor and loss of search land that is replaced by the technology.

On the other side, Vice Rector of IPB for Cooperation and Information Systems, Prof. Dodik Ridho Nurrochmat in his speech said that the implementation of the Agro-Maritime 4.0 concept could help manage agriculture more efficiently and facilitate farmers or fishermen in the production process. So that it helps to reduce general agricultural problems that often occur.

The event was attended by the Head of LPPM IPB, Dr. Aji Hermawan, Deputy Head of LPPM IPB in Research, Prof. Agik Suprayogi, Secretary of LPPM IPB, Prof. M. Faiz Syuaib, deans and heads of the centers of LPPM IPB.
