SB IPB Publication Journal Wins Award from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti)

JMA Journal, Indonesian Journal of Business Entrepreneur (IJBE) and Journal of Business and Management Applications (JABM) published by IPB University Business School (SB) won an award from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti). The award was given at the Geliat Arjuna Accreditation event (Indonesian Journal Accreditation) at The Margo Hotel, Depok (22/2).

Deputy Dean of SB IPB, Dr. Idqan Fahmi, who is also the Chief Editor, said that the journals received incentives and Aid for the Management of Electronic Journals towards International Reputation. “This is an honorable award to continue to spur the improvement of the quality of the IPB Business School journal,” he said.

Dr. Idqan added that in managing journals, there is a coaching process. The same is true for the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education with Arjuna. Not only content, management is also considered.

“Many are seen from journals that have won this award. Among them from management and substance. There are around 20 indicators and rated. All good governance practices are seen. Initially, managing this journal to provide outlets for journal publications. With the acquisition of this award, of course our target is to be immediately internationally reputed so that it can color the world level. With SB journals in international journals, this is an opportunity to communicate that management and business in Indonesia are unique. How to communicate it in the world, how do you do it with international journals, “he said.

This success can be an outlet for Indonesian scientists. With good management, later not only for SB students and lecturers of IPB, there will be many articles from outside SB that can be published, he added. (dh / zul)
