IPB Professional Staffs Won the Top Prizes in National Financial Management Award

Heni Taryani—financial manager at Directorate of General Competencies Education Program, Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), succeeded in to be selected as No.1 among the 2018 national  most high-achieving personnel held by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic of Indonesia, in Jakarta on October 28th-30th, 2018. Through the various stages of IPB selection, Heni Taryani was chosen as the Winner representing IPB at the national level. The public choice was made by submitting a portfolio and innovation of the participants who were then determined to be the Top 10 finalists. Boarding Facility Management Information System (“Simara”) is an innovation brought by Heni Taryani, whose initial formation is as dorm damage report system. It features financial and academic administration system; whereby the academic administration system can be adopted by other units for licensing and correspondence. The system will be launched as it is innovative as well as web-based and android. IPB students could reach this application through PlayStore IPB. Its use is also effortless, i.e., by submitting photos of damaged boarding facilities. Aside of deposit amount calculation process and proper reporting system, Heni’s app offers several more advantages compared with other participants that brought her the best title during this occasion. Besides, Angga Yuhistira Aryanto, STP, MSi from Department of Agroindustrial Technology, IPB Faculty of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, as well made it to the top entitled as “The No. 1 Best Administration Academic Staff” among 249 other submitted papers. Angga through his work entitled "International Standard Academic Quality Assurance in the Industrial Age 4.0 Through the Application of Data Warehouse" was chosen as Top 10 candidates at national level. The quality assurance system carried by Angga was related to OBE-based courses (Outcome-Based Education) evaluation. Angga stated that his work has been explored and polished back since 2013. Meanwhile, Laeli Komalasari, SP, MSi from Faculty of Animal Science achieved Runner Up Prize in laboratory staff category, through her innovation entitled "Novel Drop-Equipment To Support Academic Performance Effectiveness in Laboratory". Her idea was motivated by the frequent tendencies of electricity cut in campus area, brought her to achieve the honor over 49 other best and selected participants.
