23 Lecturers from Various Universities Join the Internship Program at IPB
A total of 23 lecturers from various universities in Indonesia attended an internship program at Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB). This program was held for four months since last June and the closing ceremony was held in the Rector’s Meeting Room of Dramaga IPB Campus, (18/10). Dozens of lecturers came from Aceh, Palu, Medan, Surabaya, Kediri, Jambi, Makassar, West Kalimantan, Gorontalo and Garut.
Deputy Rector of Education and Student Affairs of IPB, Dr. Drajat Martianto said that this internship program was aimed to improve the quality of teaching resources in the future.
"This is not to look for drawbacks but to make improvements. "Hopely, this activity will have a big impact on the participants' universities," he said.
On this occasion there was a monitoring and evaluation team from the Directorate of Manpower, Career and Competencies of the Directorate of Higher Education, Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti), Suseno Amien. Suseno expressed his appreciation to IPB for facilitating the interns so that it could run well.
"Monitoring and evaluation are useful to see the performance of all of us. What programs can be implemented in the short and long term. I hope there are many of the interns who can continue their studies to a higher level, because that is an important thing to improve the quality of higher education where he is serving," he said.
