Educacyber, Application for Supporting the Z Generation Education System Bring IPB Students to Singapore
Starting from the anxiety of the education system in Indonesia, Anggita Nurul Annisa, student of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), Statistics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) designed an Educacyber idea as a supporting application that can guide students' interests and talents starting from the Park Children (kindergarten) to high school (high school).
Educacyber is an application program that uses the concept of big data to realize a synergy and supporting the Z generation education system.
"I am anxious about Indonesian education that does not change, which is still with a long learning culture. While the children that occupy school age are currently generation Z children born in 1996 until now," explained Anggi.
Educacyber provides facilities for law enforcement officers in protecting children's security and rights. Anggi designed the Educacyber application consisting of various features, namely the profile, social, academic menus, and news and articles. "In this application, each feature has very useful features. I am sure this application can be implemented 100 percent if all related elements have strong determination. So integrity is needed," he added.
Through the Educacyber idea, Anggi was awarded as the 3rd Winner of the 2018 IPB National Essay Competition organized by the Vocational School Student Executive Board (BEM).
From this achievement, Anggi got the opportunity to make a trip to Singapore on September 27, 2018.
"I feel grateful to be able to win this competition and be motivated to make more work. From writing this essay I learned to care and have to think critically," he said.
"I want students in Indonesia to be safe and comfortable in taking lessons and not feel pressured because they learn in conditions that are not in accordance with what they like. Through the Educacyber application, this big data can track children's interests. From there we can then guide their interests and talents," Anggi said.
Anggi hopes that students can do learning according to their interests and talents, and can study in an environment that is safe from verbal and physical violence. "I hope that there are synergies between all elements of education support as a first step to set forth a generation that is smart and dignified towards Indonesia Gold," he concluded. (RYS)
