IPB Send-Off 47 Hajj Pilgrims
Rector of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) Dr. Arif Satria Sent-off 47 IPB staffs and their families who will perform the hajj this year in the event of IPB Hajj Pilgrims Send-Off in Toyib Hadiwijaya Auditorium, IPB Dramaga Campus (18/7).
Meanwhile, Vice Rector of Resources, Planning and Finance Prof. Dr.Ir. Agus Purwito in his speech said that he is very happy for the calling of 47 IPB staffs, both lecturers and educational staff, and their families to perform the hajj this year.
"Hajj pilgrims should be grateful that they are able to depart this year," said Prof. Agus.
He also advised the pilgrims to leave their duties for a while during the hajj. This is to ensure the pilgrims to focus on worship, dhikr, and pray.
Meanwhile, H. Nuruddin Ma'mun in his tausiyah advised all hajj pilgrims to reevaluate their intentions, practice what was taught by the Prophet in hajj and really use this occasion to pray and worship Allah.
"Hajj is one of the rituals required by Allah to His capable servants. So hajj pilgrims should be grateful and do more worship while on the Holy Land. During the hajj, do no more gossiping, useless talking, and insincere praying and worship," said H. Nuruddin.
Hajj pilgrim representative Prof. Dr. Drh. Srihadi Agungpriyono in his speech expected the blessing so that the pilgrims can reach the mabrur hajj. "Hopefully we can sincerely perform the hajj, get Allah's forgiveness, and get into the paradise in the final day later," he concluded. (RYF)
