IPB Rector Inaugurates 28 New Officials of IPB
Rector of the Bogor Agriculture University (IPB), Dr. Arif Satria, inaugurated officials in IPB on Friday (13/7) in Common Class Rooms (CCR), IPB Dramaga Campus, Bogor.
In his speech, Dr. Arif said that IPB should be able to play contemporary roles that always adhere to its vision and mission with strategic and concrete steps. Hopefully all components of IPB can work together to carry out the steps reflected in the five-year milestone of IPB, namely excellent innovation ecosystem, engaged and competent human capital, excellent innovation, enriched and empowered society and local-global interconnectivity, as are embodied in the main programs of IPB 4.0 which are IPB Care, IPB Green, IPB Biz, IPB Smart, IPB Lead, IPB Excel and IPB Share.
Therefore, the Rector conveyed to the newly appointed officials to observe and carry out their duties and functions as stated in the Regulation of the Board of Trustees (MWA) of IPB No. 1 Year 2018 on the Organization and Administration of the Bogor Agricultural University.
"Great leaders will continue to be better role models if they are willing and able to continue to learn to increase their knowledge. A good leader is someone who can grow a hope for his followers. If the hope and desire come from the heart, then they will move to perform a concrete action to make it happen. The last test of a leader is to pass on the confidence and the will to move on to the people he leads," he advised. (Awl/ZSP/Zul)
