IPB Commemorates the Birth of Pancasila

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) commemorates The Birth of Pancasila June 1, 2018 by holding a flag ceremony. Located on the Rectorate field of Dramaga Campus IPB, Friday (1/6), the ceremony was attended by hundreds of participants consisting of elements of campus leaders, structural officials, students, lecturers and staff.

Acting as the leader of the ceremony, Plt Rector of IPB is Vice Rector for Resources, Planning and Finance, Dr. Ir. Agus Purwito, M.Sc. Agr. The ceremonial leader continued the speech delivered by the President of the Republic of Indonesia which stated that for 73 years, Pancasila became the guiding star of the Indonesian and managed to survive in the midst of waves of various ideologies that tried to shift it.

"The long series of processes in the formulation of Pancasila by the leaders of the Indonesia to unite the various differences we need to remember, explored its passion and understood its spirit. It is our duty and responsibility to ensure that Pancasila is always present in every corner of our lives and our hearts and minds. On the anniversary of Pancasila in 2018, we must strengthen our spirit to unite, share and achievement, "said one of the important message of the President of Indonesia read out by the ceremonial leader.

President of the Republic of Indonesia advised that the anniversary of Pancasila on every June 1 should be used as a moment of reminder, boost and actualization of Pancasila values. "We must strengthen the collective power of the nation and should not waste energy in disputes and divisions. We must make a big leap to improve the quality of human resources that are superior and resilient, "the message of the President. (DMR)
