It is not wrong at all for Bidikmisi (Biaya Pendidikan Mahasiswa Miskin Berprestasi) slogan to be "Aiming for Achievements, Developing Nation". Sri Wahyuni and Ahmad Bukhori, students of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB), the recepients of Bidikmisi, along with their friend, Yudi Bagaskoro, successfully snatched the title of The Best Action Plan in National Conference of Research and Innovation Call for Paper Competition 2018 in Malang Muhammadiyah University (6/5).

The students created a tourism education by integrating it to fishery sector. The idea came because the three of them saw the potential of tourism that currently seldom showed the education side.

"In our opinion, Indonesia's tourism has not yet to be utilized optimally, especially in the sea and coastal areas. We know that there is a lot of beauty and diversity in the marine sector, especially those under water. However, with such beauty and diversity, often times humans either consciously or unconsciously damage the environment. For example, the activity of fishing that can ruin the coral reefs. With that background, we thought of the way of how to create an education of fishery tourism," said Sri Wahyuni, the student of Statistics Department.

Kata Peri is the name of the education that they developed. Kata Peri is a creation that contains many values; economic, education, and aesthetic. Those values are combined together to create Kata Peri.

"In our paper, there are three major points that we combined to create maximum benefit. Those points are beauty or aesthetic, economic empowerment through tourism sector, and fishery education," Sri added.

The value of education in Kata Peri is represented in aquaculture and fishing education. It is packaged as interesting as possible by nature and coastal area tourism.

"Here, we focused the education in the aquaculture and fishing. Besides enjoying the beauty of the beach, tourist will be able to learn how about aquaculture, starting from hatchery, nursery, its management, and also harvesting. For the fish catching, tourist can learn how to fish without damaging the environment," she added.

This student, which is originally from Rembang, was also inspired by the natural condition in her region, which is a coastal area. She also saw the potential of agro-tourism that was still lacking.

"Bukhori and I came from Rembang. In Rembang, there are very few regions that have an agro-tourism. This condition led us to ideate this tourism education," she said.

This achievement is the first competition and achievement that Sri Wahyuni joined and achieved. In high school, she was a high achieving person. Various awards have been achieved, namely 1st Winner of Scientific Paper Competition in Central Java level, 3rd Winner of Mathematics Olympics in Rembang District level, and 2nd Winner of Islamic Education Debate Competition.

"I am the only child. My father works as a farmer and he does not have a stable income. This motivates me to keep achieving; especially I am a Bidikmisi student. In the future, I will always achieve more and make my parents proud. I hope that this Kata Peri paper can be implemented in 3T region," Yuni said. (CN)
