Impressive, Two Debate Teams from IPB won in Debate Wondetion 2018

Again, a proud achievement seized by Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) students. Two delegation teams from IPB successfully won both The 1st and 2nd Place  in Widyatama on Debate Competition (Wondetion) (17-18/4). Wondetion is a national debate competition for college students organized by Widyatama University, Bandung. This debate competition brought the topic of "Entertain Business: Let's Do Business Based What We Love".

The 1st Place achieved by IPB Team of Habibul Fuadi Hanif (Department of Mechanical and Biosystem Engineering), Latiful Akbar, and Apip Nurdin (both from Department of Biology). The 2nd Place achieved by ihamda El Zuhti (Department of Communication  and Community Development Science), Futiha Hikmatul Husna (Department of Biochemistry), and Zulfa Fauziah (Department of Management). They succeed to defeat other teams from various universities and secures their places in final round.

"It was quite challenging when we competed in a competition with interesting and unfamiliar topic because it is related to economy, marketing, business and management. Alhamdulillah, we can vanquished other competitors from elimination to semifinal round. What more exciting is in final round, we met other IPB team and competed each other," said Ilham, participant who won The 2nd Place in this competition.

Topic and motion for this debate are very interesting, this competition is expected to give positive contribution to the improvement of education and to increase students' awareness to both issues or newest development about economy sciences and business development knowledge in Indonesia market.

Habibul added that knowledge and insight about economy, business strategy and marketing are important to college students from any major. Being the winner in this competition has its own pride. This experience will be a place of interaction between Indonesia college students in developing creative economy and business strategy.(husna/Zul)
