Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) 46 in cooperation with the Directorate of Student Affairs and Career Development, of Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) organized the  second Rookie 46 Roadshow, carried out at the Kantin Sapta ground, of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology of Bogor Agricultural University (FATETA IPB),  IPB Campus,  Dramaga, Bogor, on Wednesday, 11 April 2018. Rookie 46 is annual event, and it is the process of finding and hiring the best and most qualified candidate for manager position of Bank BNI. Rookie 46 will be positioned straight to Manager level. This program became the pre-eminent program which was anticipated by fresh graduate due to the absence of bonding agreements.

This is one of the new breakthroughs because until now the Rookie 46 program has been the pioneer of recruitment process for employee with the rookie system,  and BNI is the  only State Owned Enterprise (BUMN) that apply this method. It is “A High Profile Management Trainee Program that exclusively designed for premium talent who are willing to serve the country and be the pride of the nation“

"The present Rookie 46 program is the second for its recruitment method. Previously, the selection process was based on the physical selection with camp simulation in Kopassus, for the present recruitment process we have increasingly innovated to find the best rookie with a selection of business competition. In essence, we are looking for the best young leaders through this rookie track," said Aldo Bimantoro as Recruitment Manager BNI.

He also said that the program is very profitable for anyone who will pass the recruitment test because the incentives provided are very tempting. Among other things, the successful candidate will win total prize amounted to 50 million Rupiah, will be given opportunity to experiencing overseas training and internship in overseas branches of BNI 46. After becoming an employee, will be positioned straight to Manager level after 2 years of training journey, and will receive premium remuneration & benefit.

Requirements required to register Rookie 2.0 is also not too difficult, that is enough with a minimum of S1 graduates, they should demonstrate strong leadership track record in organizations, champion in academic competitions, winner in sport, music, and art competitions during the period of college has been considered eligible. Cumulative Achievement Index (GPA), age limit and college majors won’t be considered for this 46 rookie selection team.

"This year, the earliest stage selection was by video selection by  expressing their ideas why participants deserve to be considered for the next stage. This poses participants' challenges as to how they can convince the selection team that they are indeed eligible to be elected. After that, the second stage is business competition. We do not have a certain quota for this rookie program, as long as everything is good and qualified we will receive, "said Aldo who is also alumnus of Agricultural Industry Technology (TIN) IPB cohort 45.

Aldo expected that  the Rookie 46 roadshow to IPB could foster a sense of awareness of IPB students related to career planning in the future. If candidates do not meet the conditional requirement, they must prepare better in the next chances.

"IPB students tend to keep their low profile when applying for jobs. Which  actually BNI requires potential applicants to not only possess relevant qualifications but also to display evidence that they possess other skills.
