Archery Student Activity Unit Holds Archery Games for IPB Campus Surroundings

Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) has thousand students from all over Indonesia. Every student with similar interests and talents gather and join the Student Activity Unit (UKM) or a specific community. To date there are more than 30 UKM and more than 30 communities in IPB.

One of them, UKM Archery, is regularly attracted by many IPB students because of its uniqueness. UKM Archery holds Archery Games 2018 every Sunday in Campus Square of IPB Dramaga (15/4). Archery Games is a sports game provided for people around IPB Campus.

Every Sunday morning, IPB Dramaga Campus become favorite places for surrounding residents to exercise and refreshing with family. Archery Games activities become certainly the main attraction for residents around the campus. Archery Games is a place to share knowledge on how to shoot right on target.

This activity aims to share knowledge and introduce how to shoot right on the target.

Fajar Tri Anggara, Chairman of IPB Archery UKM said "Aside from being a forum to share knowledge in the surrounding community, Archery Games also aims to introduce IPB UKM Archery to all who come.

Fajar also explained, "We also facilitate this archery for everyone by paying only 3000 rupiah for three arrows. In the off-campus activities, the fare for one shot reaches 30 – 40 thousand rupiah for one session of archery. We give very price cheap, so that everyone who is curious and interested in this archery can try and feel it," said Fajar, one of the students of IPB Computer Science Department. (TK)
