Paguyuban Sadulur Madiun Recommended IPB to the Students of SMA

Paguyuban Sadulur Madiun (Pasmad) was a paguyuban that oversaw the students of Madiun who studied in Bogor Agricultural University (IPB). Pasmad implemented IPB Goes to School (IGTS) which was held early last month at various high schools in Madiun residency. There were 16 schools visited in this activity with a total number of students of approximately 2,000 students.

“Students are digging information about IPB, especially about how to study in IPB, the campus life, the atmosphere of teaching and learning process in IPB, what are the facilities owned, what departments they have, the cost of living, and other information,” said the Chairman of Pasmad, Abdullah Miqdad.

According to the students, this activity of IGTS was very useful for those who were currently sitting in the class XII IPA and IPS. Especially to add insight about IPB and other information. The teachers also argued the same, in addition to increasing the student insight, this activity was able to motivate the students to be able to continue to the state university.

“We feel proud to be the ambassador of the alma mater in socializing IPB. We are proud to be carrying the name of IPB that we will introduce to the best students of the nation in Madiun which will become the prospective students of IPB,” he said.(**/Zul)
